Asian adaptation of multi-award winning Dove ‘Real Beauty’ campaign

The O&M Regional CD for Unilever Asia requested me specifically as copywriter for this very special print / outdoor project. His letter, under ‘TESTIMONIALS’ tab, above, states in part:

“I was recently handed the job of adapting Unilever’s global, multi-award winning Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. The nature of this job is probably as intense as it gets in terms of who and what’s involved. Barry stepped up to the plate to deliver all the major copy for the print on this campaign.”

The first ad below challenges the common regional prejudice against dark skin.
